Spectrum Community Center Assist is a strategic philanthropic program that aims to improve the physical condition of community centers in underserved rural and urban communities throughout Charter's 41-state footprint, as well as to support programs that provide job skills training for the people in those local communities.
Spectrum Community Center Assist has announced its schedule of events for 2023, including 15 new locations, as it expands to support more job skills training programs and provide physical improvements at more community centers throughout Charter’s 41-state footprint. In addition, SCCA is planning to partner with 25 community centers where it has already started programs since launching in late 2021.
In the first 12 months of the program Spectrum Community Center Assist has served some 6,000+ participants in the company's 41-state service area, revitalized community centers in 19 cities and invested in job training programs in underserved communities.
Charter Communications has launched Spectrum Community Center Assist, a new philanthropic program to improve the physical condition of community centers in underserved rural and urban communities. Charter will offer in-depth partnerships with 100 community organizations to carry out the physical improvements, supported by Charter employee volunteers. In addition, philanthropic investments will support new or existing job skills programs offered in these centers.
